SYNERGY. PRESENCE/ ABSENCE

The pieces in the collection are made of glass, which is used as a tool to explore the themes of change, chaos, structure. Transparent glass visually dissolves into the environment, creating an impression of ephemerality and invisibility while maintaining a clear material structure. The forms, reminiscent of growth or splashes of liquid, convey a sense of transience and change. Black and blue details create a sense of presence, and the void between them symbolises (non)existence. Some jewellery shows existence as constant disintegration in space, while others show it as an illusion of stability that can be negated at any moment by its own materiality. These ephemeral works balance invisible movement and a fragile image of a figure.
